Buttermints and Peppermint Drops


Combine 8 ounces confectioner's sugar (half a 16-ounce package), 1/4
cup margarine or butter, softened, 1 Tablespoon evaporated milk (or if you are using non-dairy milk, use 1/2 Tab.), 3 drop of peppermint or cinnamon flavoring and food coloring in a mixing bowl and beat at high speed with an electric mixer until well blended. Knead smooth. Shape dough into a 1/2 inch thick roll and then cut into slices about 1/2 inch thick. Place slices on a baking sheet covered with waxed paper. Let stand overnight to harden.
