Katie read once about making candy by pouring hot maple syrup into snow. It is supposed to cool into a hard candy. She decided to try this with the boys. I don't know whether it was the snow or the maple syrup we had, but it did not harden as we had hoped. It still made an icy sweet treat for them to eat!
