Beef with Broccoli

Marinate 1 1/2 pounds flank steak, cut into strips with:
1/2 tea. baking soda
1 tea. sugar
1 Tab. corn starch
1 Tab. soy sauce
1 Tab. water
2 Tab. vegetable oil
Refrigerate for 1 hour.

In a small bowl, for the sauce, whisk together:
1/2 cup soy sauce
2 Tab. brown sugar
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 Tab flour
1 Tab. Sherry
Set aside.

In a wok or large frying pan, heat 2 Tab. vegetable oil. Add 2 heads broccoli, cut into bite-sized pieces and cook, stirring consantly for 3 minutes. Put broccoli on a plate.
Add 2 more Tab. oil and add marninated meat and half of the sauce. Saute, stirring often, until the meat is no longer pink.
Add the broccoli and the rest of the sauce and saute 1 minute longer, stirring often.
Serve over rice.
