Scalloped Potatoes

This is a very frugal, filling side dish.

Slice 1 medium potato for each person you will be serving. Slice 1-2 onions thin. Put a layer of potatoes in a buttered baking dish. Add onion and salt and pepper to taste. Sprinkle 1 Tab. flour over the layer and dot with butter. Repeat layers until potatoes are used up. Fill dish nearly to the top of the potatoes with milk. Bake at 350 degree F oven for about 45 minutes or until browned and bubbly.
