Pasta Primavera or Fetticuini

Primavera and Fettuccine use the same sauce.

1 pint light or heavy cream
2 cups grated mixed Parmesan and Romano cheeses
1/2 stick butter
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon Italian seasoning
optional: 1/2 cup grated mozzarella cheese

Melt butter in a pan. Add the rest of the ingredients and heat on low heat until thick and creamy.
Meanwhile cook your fettuccine or linguine noodles.

If you are making primavera, cut whatever vegetables you want to have in it (broccoli, yellow squash, zucchini, sweet peppers, mushrooms, etc.) into large bite-sized pieces. In the last 5 minutes of cooking the pasta, dump the vegetables in. Drain the pasta and vegetables together.

  2. The nice thing about this dish, too, is that it can be changed to suit the tastes of your family or what is available! It never comes out the same twice!
